Before the Makeover
The project started with a fairly standard 90’s bathroom: builder-grade design, minimal character, and functionality that no longer met the needs of the modern homeowner. Our client wanted more than just an update; they envisioned a tranquil space where they could relax and rejuvenate, echoing the luxury and comfort of a high-end spa.

The transformation process involved gutting the entire space to start fresh. This approach allowed us to address structural and design limitations of the original bathroom and to incorporate new, high-quality materials and fixtures that matched the client’s vision for a spa retreat.
The Centerpiece: Freestanding Tub
A gorgeous freestanding tub was selected as the centerpiece of the new bathroom design. Its placement and design were carefully considered to create a focal point that is both aesthetically pleasing and inviting.
Custom Shower with Kohler Hardware
Understanding the importance of a luxurious shower experience, we constructed a new custom shower equipped with all Kohler faucet hardware. The frameless glass enclosure adds to the feeling of openness and modernity, ensuring that every shower feels like a spa experience.
J&K Vanities and Quartzite Counters
Storage and functionality were key considerations in this remodel. The new J&K vanities feature large drawers with built-in power strips, providing a convenient solution for hairdryers and other appliances. The stunning Quartzite counters, paired with undermount porcelain sinks, combine durability with beauty, elevating the overall design.
Final Touches: Paint and Lighting
To achieve the calm and inviting atmosphere the client desired, we finished the walls with “Agreeable Gray” washable flat paint from Sherwin Williams Emerald. This color choice truly gives the bathroom a serene feel, complementing the overall spa-like theme. Additionally, careful attention was paid to lighting design, ensuring that the space is well-lit yet maintains a warm and relaxing ambiance.
